Welcome to the 1st Royal Canadian Marines

World War II Online is a MMOG which stands for Massive Multi Player Online Game. It is the only true Virtual Battle Field type game in existence on the internet. It has the best flight and combat simulations that can be found in which you are actually pitting your fighting skills, equipment and tactics against another army or air force made up of real people, not AI. It is truly an amazing action packed fun game to get involved with. It will allow you to immerse yourself at your own speed. You can go the Lone Wolf route or you can join one of the many fine squads. By joining a squad you will enjoy the game a lot more as this adds a teamwork element and camaraderie with your squad mates, not to mention friendships you will build with other players all over the world.
If you were to have told me 20 years ago that I would be re fighting WWII in an online game and that I would be playing with as many as 5,000 to 10,000 players, I would not have believed you! The game goes on 24/7 through all the time zones. You can get up in the US at 5 or 6 am and play with the Aussies or Europeans. Get on anytime during the day or evening in the North American time zones and you could be playing with other US, Canadian, Mexican or South American players.
If you decide to join the 1st RCM, you must know that we are a dedicated allied squad. If you want to play Axis you will need to resign from the 1st RCM. Once you are finished playing Axis you may be re-instated to the 1st RCM. If you are new to the game, we will train you in whatever branch of the service you wish to play. Or, you can play any and all of the branches from flying, armor, infantry or naval. You will earn rank. If you have leadership abilities there are command positions that you can get invovled with. Our enlistment is open to all nationalities. If you have any questions please feel free to contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

ForumsHello Fellow !st RCM Squad Members. For the past 4 or 5 years I have had a YaBB PHP Forums for the squad which has become vulnerable to php hackers. Due to the number of hacks we are getting, I am going to change the forms from the traditional one, to one on this site. You will be able to enter any comments same as with the old forums. You need to be registered on the site. If you forgot your username and password, email me or contact me in the game and I will reset it. To access the forums simply look at your user menu when logged into the 1st RCM website. Last Updated (Saturday, 21 November 2009 18:14) Free Trial

Team SpeakTeamSpeak Do I need TeamSpeak? No, you don’t need TeamSpeak to play Battleground Europe.

Battleground Europe is fought on an accurate half-scale map of 1940's Western Europe. This map is dotted with a network of towns and cities. Each town is a varied collection of facilities, but includes always at least one army base (which includes an infantry spawn point and a vehicle spawn point), one “town center,” and supply depots linking the town to adjacent towns by road, rail or water. The only exception for this is some cities located on islands that are inaccessible by road/bridges do not support vehicle spawning.
